Pictures from anti-Glazer protest - Sunday, 30 April
A great sense of unity at the anti-Glazer protest on Sunday.
There was a good turnout for the anti-Glazer protest in Manchester on Sunday. Fans marched two-and-a-half-miles from The Old Nags Head in the city centre to Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium.
The 1958 were responsible for the protests - but don’t be fooled into thinking they are looking for any self gain from any of this. It brought unity to the fanbase at United and it’s not often you can say that when you follow the biggest football club in the world.
We had a message and it was clear. #GlazersOut - for good. And, full sale only.
Here are some pictures I took after joining the protest at MUST, where fans paid a beautiful tribute to the late Ian Stirling.
On Friday, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe submitted revised bids for a third time round. This came six months on from when the Glazers announced they were considering selling the club.
